Even if we think that we can, we actually cannot and will not make it – without Him! Man was created as a vessel to contain God, and as we receive Him into us, we also become, little by little, like Him! A glass expresses the content – either juice, or water – whatever it is fill with. In the same way, we can receive Him, contain Him, and express Him! This does not mean that we are “excluded”, but that we are filled with meaning! God in Christ as the Spirit can fill our vessel little by little every day, and we become His expression as His measure increases in us! Lord, grow in us!
This is why He can: He can fill us, He can express Himself through us, and we can make it by having Him! Oh, to be filled with meaning, reality, God! Lord Jesus, come in!
