as the Word of life, Christ declares God to us and brings us the divine life

This week we are enjoying one item from the central line of the Bible – the Word of God. But what is the most interesting is that the Word of God is not “something in itself” – the main thing about the Bible is that Christ is the Word of God! We don’t come to the Word of God apart from Christ, and we don’t come to the Word of God to gain anything or see anything else but Christ! “In God’s economy Christ is the center, the Body is the line, and the New Jerusalem is the goal!” Everything in God’s economy is Christ, and Christ is the universal replacement for everything and everyone else in God’s eyes! So when we come to the word of God we see that Christ is the Word of God! And the Word of God is for us to grow in life unto the building up of the Body!
