 The Body of Christ is not an organization but a living organism, composed with the living Triune God and His redeemed, being transformed, and being conformed to the image of Christ, people! According to Eph. 4:4-6 we see that the Triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Spirit – is mingled with the Body of Christ. Actually, according to the revelation in the Bible, the main work the Triune God is doing today is the building up of the Body of Christ. This is God’s central work – and everything He is doing in the universe is for this(Matt. 16:18). Everything works together and coordinates together for the Body of Christ – which is a living organism, not a dead organization. A wooden table is perfectly shaped, formed, and built – but is dead, though it is organized. The Body of Christ is a living organism, full of life, and has nothing to do with human organization. Every part and every member of the Body of Christ is living and functioning – every believer has the divine life in him which enables him and gives him the capacity to function in the Body of Christ according to its measure. …
