What a love is this: the Son tenderly cares, the Spirit seeks us, and the Father receives us lovingly!


This morning I enjoyed afresh the fact that inLuke 15Eph. 2:18, and Psa. 36:8 there is a clear sequence of the Triune God working in His Divine Trinity in man, and this sequence is according to God’s salvation! In God’s salvation, first of all, the Son came to redeem us and pay the price to bring us back to God. Christ’s redemption is the base of our salvation, and without His redemption we cannot be related to God in any way. Based on Christ’s redemption, the Spirit seeks us, searches within us, lits the lamp of the Word of God in us, and sweeps in us. Wherever we are, in our situations, the Spirit sweeps in us, shines on the Word of God, and searches us within. Based on the Son’s redemption and as a result of the Spirit’s searching and finding us,we return to the Father – who has chosen us from the beginning unto salvation(2 Thes. 2:13) and who is waiting for us to lovingly receive us in His arms!
