The only way to deal with all the factors of division which are in our natural being is by coming to the Lord in His word with an open heart and an open spirit. The word of God which is living and applied to our being through having the divine light shining on it and infusing the truth into us sanctifies us and makes us one! The sanctifying word, the sanctifying Spirit, the sanctifying life, and the sanctifying God are all one – when we are sanctified, we are made one, and all factors of division are taken away!

This oneness is not the oneness that man can offer or experience by themselves – the Lord said in John 17:21, … that they all may be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us… The way for us to be one is to be in the Triune God – this is a “in us” – oneness, the enlarged oneness of the Triune God!
