Jesus Christ became a covenant to us: He is the Mediator and Executor of the new covenant!

God’s heart’s desire is not for man to serve Him and be submissive to Him; God desires to give all He is to man so that man may enjoy Him and express Him! This is why God created man and put man in front of the tree of life – He wanted man to enjoy Him and take Him in as his life! This is why God called Abraham and made a covenant with him, promising to him and to his seed that He will bless them. This is why God chose a people, Israel, and dwelt among them. This is why God became a man in the Lord Jesus, and then He became the life-giving Spirit in Christ’s resurrection. Also, this is why God regenerated the many believers into Christ to be the Body of Christ for His expression and reproduction. It is all for this – God’s desire to dispense all that He is, all the riches of His being, into man, so that man may enjoy Him, be filled with Him, and express God in a spontaneous way! Even though man fell and became a sinner, offending God to the uttermost, God still wants the same thing. In His wisdom He provided Christ as the One who not only rescued man from the enemy but also fulfilled all the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory.
